Last summer, Dr. Al Schwab created a new physical chemistry lab experiment for our students based on differential scanning calorimetry. His paper is "Glycerol as a Cryoprotectant: An Undergraduate Experiment Using Differential Scanning Calorimetry to Study Glycerol-Water Mixtures" and ACS is providing open access to the publication here.
