Dr. Folarin Oguntoyinbo, Associate Professor in the department, has been awarded the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship. This fellowship will allow him to visit, conduct research, train students and collaborate with Professor Obadian at the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Nigeria during the 2023 first summer session.
Dr. Oguntoyinbo has also been appointed as a US/Canada Ambassador for Applied Microbiology International (AMI).
